Monkey Music Swings into the Finals of the British Franchisor Awards 2010
Monkey Music, the UK’s premium music group for pre-school children, were runners up in the Best Franchisee Support category of the British Franchise Association’s (bfa) ‘Franchise Awards’.
Supported by Express Newspapers and now in their 21st year, the prestigious bfa Awards took place in Nottingham in June and, during May, shortlisted candidates presented to the judging panel under the formidable eye of Chairman, Sir. Bernard Ingham.
The Franchise Awards recognise the very best in British franchising, identifying those franchisors who are striving for excellence, and entries were collated from across the UK before the national finalists were chosen.
The Franchisee Support category in which Monkey Music has been shortlisted is sponsored by HSBC. The award recognises franchisors who offer exceptional levels of support to their franchisees, be that through marketing, training, financial or important personal support.
Angie Coates, Managing Director & founder of Monkey Music, said:
"We’re delighted to be the runners up in the Franchise Awards. In 2005 Monkey Music won the Brand Builder of the year, so to be shortlisted for HSBC Franchisee Support award is really special and we were the only finalists from the children’s activity market segment.
At Monkey Music we pride ourselves on our friendly, but professional approach and this nomination is testament to all the hard work our head office team put in, and to our great network of Franchisees who make our work such a pleasure."
